1 top round roast/ chuck roast (local/grassfed)

1 Tablespoon Salt

1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder

1 Tablespoon Black Pepper

1 Tablespoon Thyme

1 organic Onion

1 bunch of cut organic Carrots

6-8 organic Potatoes sliced

Place roast in crock pot and fill with water.  Put enough water to barely hit the top of the roast.  Pour all spices into crock pot.  Add onions.  Cook on high heat for 2 hours and then turn it back down to low for another 8 hours.  Take out the cooked onion (I toss it out).  Add in the potatoes and carrots and cook on low for another 3-4 hours until roast starts to fall apart.  Pull apart roast and enjoy.

We eat our roast with cooked rice and homemade salsa.  So good!
