1-2 lbs fresh shrimp (cleaned and tails removed)

1/2 cup grapeseed oil

1/2 tsp oregano

2 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1 tablespoon butter

1 cup homemade chicken broth

1 cup raw milk (whole milk- low fat or skim will not work)

1 cup shredded raw cheese or parmesan

Turn on stove to medium heat.  Put oil and butter in pan and let heat up.  Add the oregano, salt, garlic powder.  Once it is warm, add the shrimp and sear them in the oil for a few minutes.  Do not over cook at this stage.  Turn the burner down to low.  Add the chicken broth and the milk.  Heat up the liquids and  add more salt, garlic powder, or pepper to taste.  Add grated cheese to the top.  Eat this over steamed rice. Enjoy!
