A little chocolate deviation

As green boot girls, we are trying to improve our lives by staying away from unnatural food products.  But, I’m 9 months pregnant, and last night I wanted a milkshake.  I was combing through Publix last night trying to convince myself as I bought organic apples, organic bananas, avocados, coconut oil (etc) that I should not drink a milkshake, but I could not shake the craving.  So I went over to the ice cream section and started looking.  At first glance I was looking for buy one get one free deals, but I wasn’t that lucky.  I wasn’t really thinking healthy–after all we are talking about a milkshake!

Well, I happened to glance at the Publix Premium Frozen Yogurt and in small print it said contains “with active yogurt cultures including L. Acidophilus and Bifidum”!  It’s still not the best choice of foods in the world, but hey my icecream had probiotics, I used organic milk, and organic bananas, and I was totally 100% satisfied with life!   If you are interested in what Publix has to say about their probiotics, here is short article about how good it is for your system:  http://www.publix.com/wellness/greenwise/feature/Article.do?id=572&childId=733

Sounds good especially since today was soooo hot! I had no idea their frozen yogurt had probiotics. So cool 🙂
