I like to make popcorn for movie nights. It is a fun treat. My 2 year old loves popcorn so I make a healthy version.
You need a stainless steel pot w/ a lid.
~or something similar
Place on stovetop with 3 tablespoons of oil (coconut oil is the best).
Pour 1/2 cups of popcorn kernels into oil.
There is such a thing as organic popcorn!
Cover and turn heat to medium. Leave pan lid slightly ajar to allow steam to escape.
When popping slows, remove pan from heat or unplug popper. Keep a close watch so nothing heats up too fast. Each stove is a little different.
Add salt and melted raw butter to taste. So good. This makes happy movie night for everyone.
