I know I have been guilty of overeating here and there. Which is not too bad. I just can’t do it often if I want to stay healthy and fit. There is a difference between chronic overeating and the occasional overeating. I am more like the occasional overeater and my husband has the love of food gene. He struggles with this issue. Maybe it is because he is the 16th of 17 children, and there was never enough food in the house. Or maybe all the older kids ate the good food before he even had a chance. It is hard to really figure out. Luckily he is young and it has not really affected his health negatively. His metabolism is still in great shape, but he knows he has to make long term changes to stay healthy. There are natural remedies available. I found some interesting information on eating issues in, “The Family Guide to Homeopathy,” by Alain Horvilleur, M.D. Thought I would share.
~To control the appetite of a regular big-eater : ANTIMONIUM CRUDUM 9 C
~To calm a bout of nervous over-eating caused by anxiety: IGNATIA AMARA 9 C
~For people who eat constantly and still loose weight: NATURUM MURIATICUM 9 C
Then there is the opposite: LACK OF APPETITE
~CINCHONA OFFICINALIS 3 X
~GENTIANA LUTEA 3 X
Alternate five pellets of each 3 times a day.
Another great home remedy to help w/ appetite control is Apple Cider Vinegar. It works great for these issues too.
These might be worth a try.

I have really found Julie Ross and her book The Diet Cure to be helpful with overeating and food cravings in general. She uses pure amino acid therapy and has excellent recommendation. There is a simple quiz on her website to that is really helpful as well.
This sounds awesome. I will check it out. Thanks!
