This is an easy to make all natural bathroom cleaner.  It’s time for some deep all natural bathroom cleaning in the Green Boot home.  Why?  I wish the answer was that I am a clean freak, but I am not. I need to use natural bathroom cleaners because my skin is very sensitive to strong chemicals like bleach.  I have had my fair share of light chemical burns from regular cleaning supplies.   Maybe that is why I didn’t care so much for deep cleaning, until I discovered great all natural bathroom cleaners.  I am also sensitive to latex, so cleaning gloves can be problematic.  If certain chemicals touch my skin I get redness and irritation.  I even have pain that lasts up to 24 hours if certain cleaning supplies touch the skin right by my fingernails.  Solution: it is time for me to make my cleaning supplies.

All Natural Bathroom Cleaner

1 cup baking soda
1/4- 1/2 cup Liquid Castile Soap
6-8 drops Tea Tree and Lemon Oil

I use this all natural bathroom cleaner when cleaning the toilet, bathtub, sink, toilet bowl, and even the tile.  I absolutely love it.  It is so easy to make and the ingredients are always on hand.  You can prepare this last minute without my thought or preparation.  The best part is that you will not have ANY minor chemical burns or skin irritations from this natural bathroom cleaner.  Cleaning becomes less of a toxic burden and more enjoyable like it is intended to be!  Our home is much cleaner thanks to this all natural bathroom cleaner.

Kaley, I like this simple and effective bathroom cleaner recipe. My skin is sensitive like you and I don’t like using commercial brands that have toxic chemicals so thanks for sharing your recipe! I will share your recipe with others.

I don’t know if this is still an active blog, but I just cleaned my bathroom using this recipe. I really liked it, I wasn’t worried about my son being around while I was cleaning. And not getting light-headed from all the chemicals in other cleaners was a definite bonus. I did have to use some elbow grease, but our tub hasn’t been cleaned in a while (cause it’s my least favorite thing to do). But I could get in the tub and scrub away and not be worried about my skin (or eyes) coming in contact with the cleaner. Thank you for the recipe!
