This recipe is from my mother’s friend.  I grilled chicken tonight and used it as a dip.  It is so delicious.  It would also be a great marinade.  I added 1/2 a red pepper which is why mine is a little more red.  Here goes.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup soaked almonds

1/2 cup olive oil

1 T apple cider vinegar

2 T Honey (I used organic sugar)

1/2 small onion

1 sweet pepper (couldn’t find one last minute)

1 tomato

1 clove garlic

I added 1/2 red pepper (optional)

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 tsp dried herbs (parsley, rosemary, basil, and sage)

~I also added 1 T whey (optional). Probiotics.

Blend all ingredients in blender.  Store in the refrigerator.
