Banana Bread (or muffins)

Another family recipe.

1/2 cup butter softened

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

3/4 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp salt

4 large ripe bananas, mashed

1/2 cup small chocolate chips (optional)


Mix butter and sugar.  Add egg and blend.  Add mashed bananas and blend.  Add dry ingredients into a separate bowl and mix.  Slowly add dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

Pour into one loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees.

Or pour into muffin tin and bake at 350 degrees for 20-24 minutes.
