Bear Lake, Idaho

John and Grant took a weekend trip to Bear Lake, Idaho.  Look how pretty Idaho is this time of year!!

This is a picture of Izzy and Grant exploring.  The property is a little over 11 acres.  The boys left on Friday afternoon with Doug and 5 other kids.  Bear Lake is about 3 hours northeast of Salt Lake City.  I have not been up to the Wirthlin cabin.  After seeing these fun pictures I am excited to go up on the next trip.  Grant told Opa “I can’t believe we have another farm in Utah.” Opa just laughed.  Grant doesn’t really know anything about Idaho yet, they kept trying to explain to him that they were in Idaho not Utah.  This is a great summer camping destination.  Here are a few pictures from the trip.

Lots of ATV’ing.

Work projects: Picking up sticks and cutting down a few trees.

Climbing trees with the older boys.

Finding Bones!! Grant loved this.

Shooting guns…. Grant’s first time.

Uncle Doug practiced with the Bow N Arrow.  Grant thought that was the coolest…. a real one.

The quaint farm house.  Getting the heat turned on was easy, but getting the water turned on was tricky!

Idaho cowboys herding cows…. just like my dad does it…

Can’t wait to visit soon.
